It's a Circus!!

Sunday afternoon the Carraway clan went to the circus! And, I mean the real circus, not just the three ring circus that is our daily life. :) The boys seemed to really enjoy it. Graham just sat in his seat totally mesmerized by the elephant for a good 15 minutes before the show started. Then, finally about 15 minutes after it was supposed to start, the show began! The boys saw lions and tigers jump through fire, trapeze artists, tight rope artists and of course, clowns! However, they sat with their hands covering their ears just about the entire time. And, I don't blame them!! The music was way too loud. Even baby Quad was going bonkers in my belly every time the music started up!


At intermission we headed down to the floor for a pony ride. Patrick was all for it, but Marshall kept saying he did not want a ride. We purchased only one ride ticket and that was a BIG mistake. At the last minute Marshall changed his mind and had a perfect 'Marshall Moment' because he didn't get to ride a pony. We ended up leaving during intermission with Marshall melting down screaming that he wanted to ride a pony. Classic. None of the boys would have made it through the second half, as Graham had no afternoon nap and was exhausted beyond belief and the big boys were tired of it being too loud. Overall, it was a lot of fun and a great idea that daddy had! I'm sure we'll go again next year. :)
